Potential occurrence of Araucaria angustifolia (Bertol.) Kuntze in the urban forest of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil

The objective of this study was to develop the potential distribution model Araucaria angustifolia and verify relevance Curitiba’s urban forest for its conservation. developed considering meteorological topo-edaphic criteria through MaxEnt® algorithm. map classified into three classes environmental adequacy: high, medium, low. We recommend creating protected in regions indicated by model, aiming at favoring conservation reducing pressures on their populations environment.
